What is PerchPeek?
At PerchPeek we dream of a borderless world where people have the freedom to live and work where they please. Where ideas and resources flow where they’re most needed unrestricted by national borders. We strive to create a world of opportunity for everyone, anywhere – one move at a time.
We’re building a streamlined Mobility ecosystem to empower businesses and individuals to move anywhere in the world. We support employers and employees through every stage of the relocation process, providing an affordable, scalable, high-value service, powered by technology and relocation expertise.
Have you ever relocated? If so, you probably know how overwhelming it can be—immigration hoops, tax implications, housing, shipping, utilities, banking…the list goes on. No matter where in the world you go, relocating is complicated, time-intensive, and stressful. PerchPeek was conceived to change that.
For relocators, our goal is to guide them through every step of their move with a delightful mix of tech, coaching, content, and partnerships which work together to make relocating simpler, faster, and more fun.
For employers, we streamline the entire process of supporting international Mobility into one easy-to-use platform, turning Mobility into a strategic advantage for thriving globally.
Now you know why we’re so passionate about what we do!
The Role
This is a hybrid Product Manager + Product Operations role designed to improve both what we build and how we build it.
We’re growing quickly – and we need someone who loves clarity, structure, and momentum to help us scale the product organisation with speed and quality, focusing on:
- Sprint process best practices & delivery rhythm
- Backlog readiness & ticket quality assurance
- Product development prioritisation
- QA testing coordination & release process
- Operational visibility & product health metrics
You will partner closely with our VP of Product, designers, and engineers to make sure the team is always delivering the most impactful work with clarity and minimal friction.
This is a role for someone who loves driving clarity, sequencing work, unblocking teams, and making complex workflows run smoothly.
Responsibilities
Whilst every role in a startup has a degree of flexibility over time, here is what we see as this role’s main responsibilities:
1. Own the Product Delivery Rhythm
- Ensure smooth execution of sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups, and retros by supporting processes, streamlining workflows, and tracking action-item follow-up
- Maintain a clean, prioritised backlog with at least two sprints’ worth of “dev-ready” tickets
- Enforce clear tech-ticket deadlines after scoping
- Track progress and proactively flag risks
2. Coordinate QA & Release Readiness
- Establish predictable release processes, rituals and checklists
- Perform QA testing, coordinate stakeholder demos and testing, and ensure readiness standards are met
- Own go/no-go release decisions together with the team
- Maintain clear release notes, changelogs and cross-functional comms
3. Lead Product Operations
- Maintain the “single source of truth” for roadmap + work-in-progress
- Maintain product documentation
- Manage tooling, templates, documentation and operational workflows
- Identify and remove process bottlenecks
- Build simple dashboards for product health and adoption
4. Strengthen Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Be the coordination hub for Engineering, Product, Finance, our customer-facing teams, and GTM
- Surface the right information, to the right people, at the right time
- Keep communication crisp, simple and actionable
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Product Operations, Release Management, Product Management, Project Management, or Quality Assurance and a desire to grow into a Product role. Examples of relevant previous roles include:
- Technical Project Manager / Program Coordinator
- Roles in business operations (BizOps), sales operations, or revenue operations
- QA Engineer / QA Lead (especially if you’re looking to move into Product)
- Business Analyst or Technical Analyst
- Management Consultant (junior–mid level), Digital Transformation or Technology Consultant
- Process / Operational Excellence Specialist
- Technical Support Lead, Customer Support Lead, or Systems Analyst
- Experience running sprints and coordinating multidisciplinary teams (or comparable experience)
- Strong proficiency with agile tools and workflows
- Comfort with technology and the fundamentals of software development
The type of person we think will be awesome at this will likely have the following range of qualities and experience:
- You are Process-Oriented: You have a proven track record of taking a disorganised (or non-existent) process and turning it into a documented, efficient system. You are exceptionally organised and thoughtful about how one piece of work impacts another.
- You Have Strong Project Management Skills: Strong familiarity with Agile/Scrum. You know how to manage dependencies, facilitate stand-ups, and keep a timeline on track.
- You are a Clear Communicator: You have excellent written and verbal English and ability to distill complex updates into clear, concise summaries for different audiences (from devs to sales).
- You are Comfortable with Data: You can build your own reports, clean data sets, and use analytics tools to answer questions without needing a data scientist.
- You Lead Without Authority
Whilst not necessary, we’re especially interested in candidates with:
- Background in B2B SaaS & Scale Ups
- Experience coordinating QA or releases
- Familiarity with analytics tools (SQL/Looker/Tableau/Jira/Mixpanel)
